Harris Corporation Space and Intelligence Systems has an opening for a Principal, Program Finance to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Rochester, New York. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.

This position will be responsible for supporting various financial aspects of the program completing OSPI forecasting and analysis, EVMS and financial reporting.

  • Support for ISR-North proposals and pricing

  • Support ISR-North Programs, providing financial oversight of contract costs, customer reporting, risk assessment, and impact of schedule changes.

  • Internal financial forecasting, management, and reporting of key financial measures: orders, sales, profit, & cash flow

  • Assist the ISR-North business area in the management and forecasting of capital expenditures and discretionary spending

  • Development of standardized best practices in keeping with Harris policies and procedures to strengthen overall team effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business/Accounting or Mathematics or related field and 12 years of experience OR

  • Master’s degree in Finance or related field and 10 years of experience; or equivalent.

  • Experience with proposal & pricing under Federal Acquisition Requirementsand Corporate-facing financial reporting and projections.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Top Secret or TS/SCI.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MPM. Experience with PeopleSoft or Hyperion is a plus.

  • Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people of all levels within the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems and issues in a timely manner with moderate supervision.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skill set, including the capability to interface with customers and form strong business partnerships with key program leaders.

  • Strong communication skills (Oral, Written, Listening).
