Position Overview:

Harris’ Information Technology Leadership Program (ITLP) was recently launched to offer unique and exciting growth opportunities for top-tier IT Talent. ITLP is a multi-year developmental program created to provide the Information Technology function with a talented, select pool of employees who have the potential to develop into the future leaders of Harris. ITLP was developed as a rigorous program that combines rotational developmental experiences with leadership and technical training.

ITLP participants are expected to work diligently to achieve successful status as high performers, demonstrating an aptitude and attitude that can make a significant contribution to Harris. The goal is for ITLP participants is to graduate with a unique blend of knowledge and leadership skills, which will ensure that they will meet the challenges of providing business excellence to Harris IT. Job Description:

  • Complete three (3) rotations over 36 months, with assignments in various functions

  • Rotations focus on analyses and business needs in the following functions: Custom Software Development, Cyber Security, UX, Machine Learning, Business Process Automation, High Performance Computing, Enterprise Architecture, Customer Operations

  • Extensive use of verbal and written communication skills, problem solving and teamwork on a daily basis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in one of the following or related fields: Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science and a minimum of 2 years experience

  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA

  • Willingness and ability to travel and relocate

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Demonstrated technical skills, business acumen and leadership skills

  • Excellent skills in oral and written communication analytics and problem solving. Initiative, enthusiasm; willingness and ability to learn in a dynamic environment with a passion for Information Technology

  • Work experience as an Intern/Co-op in Information Technology or related fields

  • Self-starter, displaying initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
