Harris Corporation Space and Intelligence Systems has an opening for a Senior Associate, Government Compliance to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palm Bay, Florida . The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.
Provide asset management customer service to the Division in support of the objectives of Enterprise Asset Management
Manage the asset management records database, including accurate input of new records and updates to existing records
Ensure tracking and retention of audit artifacts
Provide barcode tags and perform equipment tagging
Prepare asset management documentation
Contributes to preparation of asset management reports as needed, including data for financial reports, physical inventory results, lost equipment, self-assessment results and additional reports
Analyze the Division's asset portfolio to identify areas for potential re-utilization or increased utilization of assets to reduce capital expenditures
Interfaces with customers, auditors, senior management and other internal stakeholders for all asset management matters.
Participate in the Division's Annual Capital Planning process
Participate in internal and external audits
Responsible for providing guidance and training to company personnel on the application of business system processes, interpretation of laws and regulations and compliance requirements
Learn and apply Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Harris financial policies as applied to asset acquisition, use and disposition
Evaluate overall asset management program effectiveness
Identify and correct process deficiencies and propose solutions for continuous improvement
Participate in tool standardization and solution development initiatives
Participate in Lean/Six Sigma training
Obtain Certified Property Professional Specialist (CPPS) certification from the National Property Management Association (NPMA)
Ability to lift/move 30 lbs
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, or General Business Management and 2+ years of experience
Working knowledge of contractual requirements related to Government Property Management including FAR Part 45, FAR 52.245-1, DFARS property management clauses, FAA AMS 3.10.3 and others
An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Certified Property Professional Specialist (CPPS) certification from the National Property Management Association (NPMA)
Preferred Additional Skills:
Written, verbal and presentation skills including familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint are preferred.
Data analysis skills including familiarity with Microsoft Excel formulas, charts and pivot tables are preferred.
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Contracts Management and Finance concepts is preferred
This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance. In order to obtain a clearance, you need to be a US Citizen and show proof of citizenship.
