Candidates for the position of asset manager require experience gathering detailed hardware and software inventory information supporting the organization’s asset management program in classified program areas. Asset managers support Information Systems Security Officer/ Information Systems Security Manager (ISSO/ISSM) team activities to manage information technology (IT) assets on classified and unclassified systems, complete physical inventory of assets across many program areas, identify and remove obstacles to the completion of asset inventories, follow established policies and procedures for decommissioning IT assets, support asset movement between areas, and manage inventory.
Primary responsibilities include tracking and maintaining an accurate inventory of assets throughout their life cycle, serve as the key point of contact for asset management in the department, ensure all assets are controlled, appropriately marked, and accounted for in accordance with all applicable regulation, policies, and SOPs; cooperate and collaborate with other security disciplines in the organization to achieve overall team efficiencies and goals.
Other responsibilities include identifying opportunities to fully utilize unused or partially used IT hardware and software assets, working with automated information systems (AIS) to manage asset information, maintain the accuracy of Configuration Items (CIs) in programs and system configuration baselines, collecting data supporting metrics and reporting, and assisting the ISSO/ISSM team developing documentation. Candidates should have experience with the Risk Acquisition Questionnaire (RAQ) process as it relates to hardware & software. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS level.
3+ years of experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Software including Word, Excel Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
2-3 years’ experience with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) is required.
Current Secret Clearance
TS/SCI clearance (fully Adjudicated).

Experience working in Sunflower Asset tracking database
Possession or pursuit of a bachelor’s degree and 5+ yrs of applicable experience in Inventory control, leading teams in asset control or manufacturing in classified environments
Able to work independently and in team environments.
Ability and willingness to periodically work overtime as necessitated by the needs of the business.
Experience in inventory control, data custodian, asset control or manufacturing in classified environments.
