Primary responsibilities would be CAP-16 Inventory coordination and execution on an enterprise level, as well as the execution of the annual Lab Audit. In addition, the role would coordinate with CHQ system support team to continue to drive improvements and sustainability in our tracking system in the existing environment and as part of the EIT Roadmap execution. Finally, the role would coordinate the support personnel in the Brevard Test Equipment Center to execute audits, investment recovery, interfacing with other groups, space planning and other ad hoc projects.
CAP-16 Inventory Execution
Inventory coordination with business units across 60 fixed asset ledgers and constituting assets at business units across the continental USA and beyond.
Interfacing with internal customers in accounting, fixed assets, asset management, facilities, EIT, and many others
Lab Audit Execution
Coordination of a system location accuracy audit involving all eligible labs in the Brevard County campuses
Coordination with internal staff as well as lab custodians/management
System Support and Integration
Sunflower system support in the existing format and support of the implementation of the EAM IT Roadmap across the company
Test Equipment Center (TEC) Coordinator
Support and coordination of the Brevard Test Equipment Center staff on the Palm Bay campus
Manage the flow of asset induction, record creation, capitalization of new capital assets, disposition of Harris-owned assets, Investment Recovery sourcing and staging, tracking system support as well as other ad hoc requests
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
Must be able to bend, stoop, sit in a warehouse type environment in order to locate assets or asset tag data
Must be able to adapt to a variance in internal/external climates
Must be able to wear steel toes shoes, if entering specific areas of warehouses
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Management, or Database Management/EIT equivalent
2 years experience in a professional work environment
2 years experience in fixed asset accounting
2 years experience in database management
Preferred Qualifications :
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Self-Motivated and willing to learn
Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
Capability to interface with customers at all business levels
Good communication skills (oral, written, listening)
National Property Management Association(NPMA) Certification and or ability to obtain certification
