Job Description:

Harris Corporation is seeking a Contracts Manager to:

  • Execute the proposal, administration, and general business process for contract management support to Government, Commercial and International programs, in accordance with Company policies, government regulations and customer requirements.

  • Ensure timely deliveries of proposals, CDRLs and other customer deliverables.

  • Ensure timely notification of limitation of funds when required.

  • Provide contract management support to internal program teams.

  • Develop strong customer relationships, interacting frequently, and working as a team to resolve issues and streamline processes;

  • Execute negotiation and administration of proposals and contracts;

  • Analyze, assess and provide mitigation tactics for business and contractual risk;

  • Execute the preparation, negotiation, review, and execution of contracts detailing prices, terms and special provisions;

  • Analyze, prepare and negotiate contractual agreements including Teaming, Non-Disclosure, Intellectual Property, Licensing, Escrow, Offset/Countertrade, Memorandum of Understandings/Memorandum of Agreements, Strategic Alliances and other binding agreements as the business opportunity presents;

  • Accomplish Department and Division objectives by promoting sound business principles, applying leadership in planning, identifying, understanding and mitigating risks while ensuring effective business execution;

  • Responsible for identifying applicable subcontract flow-down clauses and risk assessments;

  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, corporate policies and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree plus 9 years relevant experience.

  • Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Experience with Deltek Cost Point and Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

  • Experience in creating and maintaining complex Excel spreadsheets.

  • Familiarity U.S. government agencies is a plus.

  • Self-starter with strong organizational and computer skills.

  • Creative and strategic mindset.
