Job Description:

Project/Process Engineer needed to define, develop, modify and implement engineering practices, procedures, test plans and other quality assessments requirements. The seasoned candidate will work to improve processes and interface within engineering functional disciplines to ensure that products are development in accordance with engineering processes. Additional responsibilities will include collecting artifacts, preparing engineering staff for AS9100 audits and CMMI audits. Moderate Peer Reviews, tracking action items to closure, participating in Configuration Control Board Meetings (CCB), and ensuring Document/Requirement Change Requests are implemented.

  • Provide direction in accordance to engineering process requirements, and recommend project implementation solutions

  • Provide user training/support for engineering process tools (Staffing, Budgeting, Estimating, Requirements Management, Execution, Test

  • Support Configuration Control Board (CCB)

  • Reviews and/or approves engineering documentation to ensure that processes and specifications meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, and complete

  • Participates in interface definition, design, and changes to the configuration between affected groups and individuals throughout the life cycle

  • Defines the methods, processes, and evaluation criteria by which the systems, subsystems, and work products are verified against their requirements in a written plan

  • Support Metrics collection, analysis and dashboard creation and management.

  • Scripting and automation capabilities is a plus.


  • Experience with Requirements Management, Configuration Control and Change Management

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering with 6+ years of Engineering and Quality experience

  • Experience with quality control methods and procedures and military specifications

  • Familiarity with DOORS, PTC, Matrix, Code Collaborator

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to balance and prioritize work

  • Ability to ask questions and mitigate issues

  • Strong coordination and meeting facilitator skills

This position requires an active U. S. Government Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
