L3Harris Software Engineer in Camden, Arkansas
Aerojet Rocketdyne, an L3Harris Technologies Company, is seeking a Specialist, Software Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL.
Under general supervision and following established policies the Software Engineer performs professional assignments that require general use and application of concepts, practices and techniques.
Essential Functions:
Configure and implement Operational Technology (OT) operating system, software, database and communications subsystems in a computer center environment with mini and/or mainframe computers.
Provide system programming and software development support for manufacturing applications including; reporting, data models, database historian, etc.
Perform system programming, system management and other support/maintenance activities related to the support of manufacturing operations technology.
Communicate with a variety of user clients.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and four (4) years directly related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
General knowledge of computer equipment capabilities and applications.
Knowledge of computer systems hardware and software including operating systems, utilities, database and communication subsystems.
General knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Expression, C Sharp, XML, SQL, Sparkplug, etc.
Experience developing in the Inductive Automation IGNITION Suite of Products
Knowledge in OT technologies and systems integration including MES, SCADA (Ignition), Equipment Controllers (PLC), IIoT, Purdue Reference Model and relevant technologies a plus
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $90,000.00 - $167,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
